I entered a password, and the g-code loaded and ran. I took a chance and entered the "system" menu, and found a password menu (which the manual said wasn't active or available in the model DSP pendant that I had). After my first pendant had gone blank, and would not recover through repeated instructions from the factory, I swapped it out with the factory (shipping both ways was about $160). One of the cautions in the DSP manual is to stay away from the system settings, because the "factory setting" firmware may disappear.
