I prefer trading on very active days since they usually produce wide price ranges, alternating between up and down multiple times a session. I just click in either the "bid size" or "ask size" at my desired fill price to enter the order for however many contracts I have indicated in the "Big Buttons" box at the bottom.

great for research and placing regular stock tradesĬons: The futures trading is very suspicious.įor futures trading, I use the dynamic "bid/ask" chart where the action flows up or down on the chart.

I didn't have level 2 turned on & there's some aid to fundamentals just not for penny stocks if you add volume profiles, expansion & fill in the Ichimoku Cloud it would be an easy 5 stars for me personally. that being said their chart Drawing tools are the best & most extensive out of other mobile apps, because of their indicator limitations I switched to using drawing tools & my success rate went up so it's kind of a blessing in disguise. the charts themselves aren't as easy on the eyes as other charts. Worst of all there's no analysis section, there's no time & sales, there's no level 2, there's absolutely nothing to aid fundamentals. You cannot create scanners or create custom indicators (contrary to other reviews you CAN see custom indicators) volume profile indicators don't work at all. there's an option to turn on expansion even tho expansion isn't supported, some indicators don't distplay or work as they should "because of data limitations" according to a representative.

While the desktop app is probably the best & most customizable trading platform. Hope this helps you get the confidence to give it a try. Next to that you can check on or cancel your orders under the orders tab. If your order goes through then you can view your portfolio under positions tab at bottom next to watchlists. Click send or confirm in upper right and your order is underway. Then either buy it at the market price which is if the lock icon is unlocked or lock the lock and click directly on the price and type the exact price you want to limit buy it at. It will already be set to 100 shares and instead of changing it with the +\- simply click directly on the number 100 to type the exact number of shares. Then when want to purchase click on trade in upper right corner. Start simple by creating your watchlists. This app is very intimidating at first compared to Robinhood, but I strongly encourage you to dive in. You can change so many settings and dive into finding your own investment strategies. There is so much more information and charts to analyze than Robinhood.
